MPFI Advanced Neurotechniques Course provides hands-on course training for early-career researchers through lectures and immersive lab rotations, culminating in focused work on selected methods. Shirley gained hands-on experience building a UCLA 1P Miniscope, practicing the full calcium imaging workflow from data acquisition to analysis. She also learned about advanced imaging methods, including FLIM and spectral unmixing.
